ammonia=ruled out. ammonia was not an issue before nor after the event here. excellent case study in non digital ammonia misread alerts. helpful for reefing. part of a widespread pattern.

I would add a UV sterilizer if you don’t have one already, run it for a few hours a day and see if that clears up the bacteria bloom after a week or two

I would reiterate the likely lack of benefit from Prime in any ammonia situation, and lack of likelihood of ammonia being the lethal cause unless something else big died first.
