Ammonia spike! Please advise.

Well crap. I will definitely be purchasing a salifert test kit for ammonia, then. Anything else unreliable by API? That’s what all of my test kits are.

All of the api test are horrible salfert for cal, mag, nitrates, hanna for phosphates and alk

You should pick up a small yellow eyed kole tang to help clean up the green algae.

I think those grow too large for my tank, don’t they?

I have had one since he was 2in long for almost 2 years he is now 4in pretty much done growing.

I don’t have a ton of algae but I will look into that my trochus snails do a pretty good job keeping things clean.

I wouldn’t say horrible, I’d say ballpark. (For ammonia though, horrible)
