Do you have spare saltwater? Do a 50% water change right away. Add Seachem prime. How old is your tank?
1 year old I have been dosing seachem now and also added bacteria that will hopefully get rid of the ammonia my phosphate went to .2, also also did like a 40% water changeDo you have spare saltwater? Do a 50% water change right away. Add Seachem prime. How old is your tank?
I hope the wrasse lives I am trying my bestThe clowns should be ok.....the wrasse I dont know....do large water changes......maybe add some chems to bring ammon down......
Looks like it was a bacteria bloom the the cloudiness went away after 2 days.why do you have ammonia? Is the tank cycled, did a fish die? etc...
Mr Holmes Farley has already explained that Prime is unlikely to lower ammonia. Have you got a pic of the tank? Have you a way of measuring pH? Is your water made with tap water or RODI?1 year old I have been dosing seachem now

Why are you measuring ammonia at all in a year old tank??1 year old I have been dosing seachem now and also added bacteria that will hopefully get rid of the ammonia my phosphate went to .2, also also did like a 40% water change
A bloom may cause a temporary ammonia spike but your nitrifying bacteria should take care of it. If you have sufficient filtration also. Water change and add some more nitrifying bacteria and you should be fine unless you see fish gasping at the surface.Looks like it was a bacteria bloom the the cloudiness went away after 2 days.
Pretty sure ammolock does bind ammonia. I do question the need to use chemicals to do this, when nature will do it, given patience. Emergency set ups excepted.Thoughts on Ammolock pls, (as I use that for both fresh (pond) and my tanks)....never failed me yet......
