Do you use Bio pellets?. If so how do you have them set up and what are your results?

I use them and they work well for me. I use a bulk reef reactor. About 4 cups pellets for a 500gl water capacity in a heavily stocked sps aquarium. I added the pellets after using GFO with already low phosphates and 0 nitrates.

If you have too many pellets in your reactor can you cause water issues?

If you have high nutrients, it can cause a massive bacterial bloom, which can cause a number of issues.

Oh I got! I know what you mean now! So the ideal use for this stuff is to use it once your nutrients are low and stable, and to keep them that way.

Yes, that's how I did it and I recommend doing it that way, although others may have had luck doing it other ways.

GFO prior and for the first two months of running the pellets. And carbon for a week every 2-3 months.
