i use Dr tim and only nitrifying bacteria to do fishless cycling new tank with about 92L. and i add its ammonia as well, but it cause high ammonia with three days. it is about 8PPM. and i have changed about 30% water. but ammonia is still 8PPM. and i have test water of sump, and it is about 0PPm as i never turn on equipment when i added nitrifying bacteria and ammonia. so what should i do now? keep waitting or change more water? thanks

Water flow and correct temperature is needed to help the cycle. I’m concerned you said did not turn on equipment. The pumps and heaters should be turned on when cycling the tank. Longer time is needed for the ammonia to decrease.

What rock did you use? Was it cured before? It may have a lot of organic material that is causing the high ammonia.
