Ok. Have you tested it against freshly made saltwater?

Regardless, you can easily fix this by dumping another bottle of cycling bacteria in.
What do you mean against freshly made salt water? Should I do WC or not and just add cycling bacteria?

Can't hurt to do both.
I think what Spare Time meant was, if you test freshly made saltwater, what is the ammonia reading? (If it's the same as your tank water, the tank is probably fine)

There is no ammonia in freshly made saltwater

I meant test freshly made salt water to see how different the color is. A lot of test ktis for ammonia are prone to appear at the lowest value of ammonia or close to it due to how they work.

You can do a water change and add bacteria. Either works. however, I find the bottle a bit less work.

Thank you should I turn off skimmer and uv lamp after adding bacteria?
