I always test the water a day after the water change and two weeks ago it was 0 ppmWhat was it before change? Are you still cycling? What test kit you using? How many gallons is your tank? How much water you change? What do you have in tank?
I do 30 percent water change every two weeks and I had the tank for over two yearsI always test the water a day after the water change and two weeks ago it was 0 ppm
I’m thinking about putting more cleanup crew inI do 30 percent water change every two weeks and I had the tank for over two years
I have a 125I’m thinking about putting more cleanup crew in
I use a salt water master test kitBased on post history:
stop testing for ammonia using non digital kits in a cycled reef they’ll mislead you every time, nothing is wrong with your ammonia
you need seneye since you’re demanding to test for ammonia in a cycled reef
never add fish that aren’t quarantined to your reef with sps in it
if this water change question is happening in a quarantine tank, good job but you would be better off with a seachem alert badge vs api, but only do this if you’re quarantining. If this is a display tank never test it for ammonia again, it’ll always be fine.
do not add bottle bac or prime to a running display reef in response to non digital ammonia testing
Yeah that was the only thing was off and I never had a problem with it and I also carry a bottle of water to a reef place to get them to test it also a few days after my water changeI use a salt water master test kit
