Is this looking alright? It’s read this since I started the tank. I added bacteria and will be getting live rock this coming weekend. Ph and everything else are ok. Salinity is a tad high, but I’m gonna recalibrate my hydrometer and test again in the AM. no livestock currently. If everything is going smoothly by Saturday I may add a small invert and see how that goes. Sacrificial snail? can’t hurt I guess.

discolored versus the chart but my guess would be lower part of scale

Ideally … seeing as there are no fish . I would add the rocks and cycle everything together .
If they’re live rocks you will get some die off ammonia but normally doesn’t take long to balance out .

I wish it were yellow-er. That color looks kind of like one of the reagents was short (or an old kit or something) and may not have formed the right reaction products. I'd get a second opinion kit.

API works fine as long as you can ignore a slight blush of green and read it as nothing significant.
