So my display tank is fishless as I’m doing fallow, but today I noticed a bunch of small bugs running around the rock work! Like dozens of them, some tiny some a bit larger. I managed to get a pic of a couple against the glass... my first guess was peppermint shrimp fry but they are very fast moving and gray. Some type of pod?

Thanks! Didn’t realize they got that large. I was kind of freaking out but I guess since my display is fallow they don’t have any predators at the moment

Adult's get good size near a 1/4" long. They're good guys to have!

I still have a good month before I add fish back to my display... any problem with them overrunning tank? I only have a couple softies and 3 shrimp 3 hermits 8 snails in my display currently.

More the merrier. Very good clean up crew. Depending on the fish you keep, wrasses will decimate them.

They pose no harm to anything.

Cool thanks a lot for the help!!

Your welcome!

Side note: yes I'm a little OCD. I pick them out of my socks when I change them to save them. I put them back into my sump. Lol
