Hey guys! With $160 bucks in my pocket and my computer I embarked on the tough search of finding the perfect coral! I quickly navigated the Sponsor forums here at Reef2Reef and saw this new company @Among The Reef. Instantly I was blown away! The Indo gold torch that Jordan had was phenomenal looking and for a great price too! I waited a few hours and I couldn't take it anymore I needed that coral :) ! A few minutes after sending them a pm I got a reply!

I could not even explain the EXPERT level of customer service that Jordan and the crew has! I am a very particular customer on a college budget and they helped me in every way possible. He even fragged up the colony of gold torch for me as I asked!

I was VERY hesitant to buy corals off a "new to the site" vendor but after I got my corals (including the awesome freebie mini colony of zoas ;)) I am now hooked and will always buy from Among The Reef ! Thank you very much guys for the awesome experience and knowledge and I will always be a loyal customer to a your great company! Give em a try folks you won't regret it!

Cheers,

Much appreciated Elio. Glad to hear that you are happy with the order! Keep me posted on how the new additions are doing!

I could not agree more with @Tanked_Life

Jordan @Among The Reef was incredibly responsive. I had a couple of special needs which he accommodated without hesitation and without any kind of additional charge. I ordered 4 colonies from him and he included the shipping at no extra charge. When the package arrived it was expertly packed. There was almost no air pocket (which is great to prevent sloshing and beating up the coral), plenty of water, and a small soft cube to help cushion the piece. Each piece was individually double bagged with an extra plastic wrap gently around the coral. The box was styrofoam lined with styrofoam peanuts and a heat pad.
The pieces came out looking great already... did a 8 minute dip in ReVive and the only thing that came off them were 2 small acro crabs :( Poor little guys were collateral damage. But no pests what-so-ever. Moved them to a clean rinse then into the DT. Within 10 minutes I was seeing really good color and pretty decent PE. The pieces were in excellent shape coming to me and I feel like I got tremendous value for what I spent.
Jordan also threw in a nice Zoa frag with mine that has about 15 polyps on it... just for being a nice customer... Just goes to show, you get more fly's (or Zoa's in this case) with honey than vinegar! :)

Literally got them today and took these pictures right after placing the last one in the DT. Please excuse my pathetic photography skills (or lack there of) and my lighting is set to 50% the normal rate for coral acclimation mode. But you can see for yourself how great these pieces are.

Bottom line... Would not hesitate to highly recommend @Among The Reef to everyone.

In this one especially, you can see what I mean about the PE within minutes.

Thank you Lenny! Glad to hear everything worked out. Let's keep an eye on that third colony- I think it's the angle of the picture seeing under the shaded portion of the branches, but let's make sure it stays healthy! Really appreciate the kind words.

No problem Jordan. And that one lighter piece colored up literally over night. This is an early morning picture next day, all blues on, but it is looking just fine.
