I was checking under my microscope (I have large cell amph dinos)....and I noticed this little guy. He doesn't look like any of the Copepods I've seen before - I seeded the tank and feed phyto to help battle the dino. For size reference (I know - hard to see), but the brown blurry things in the background are large cell amphidium dinos). Anyone know what type it is? I'm just curious - as I learn to identify all the critters in the tank.
This is in my 32gallon biocube - which I've been battling dinos in since November. Started with Prorocentrum....then small cell....and now large cell. I keep beating them back - have clean sand for a week or two....and bam...a different version takes over. Frustrating....but I want to break this tank down and move my large rock/zoas and livestock over to my 108gallong. By the way....Nitrates are 10ppm, and phosphates are .05....so not bottomed out like most dino infestations.
