Similar size and general shape but it does look a bit odd I'm not convinced

Looks really dark and color and the legs or whatever I can see their look a bit odd. As you can tell from my avatar I look at these things quite often. Lol

would need a much better pic. I do have some darker colored pods of sorts.
His shares the correct body parts but does have an oddly longer tail.

I thought they were shrimp for the longest time, but they are amphipods called Scuds.
