Interesting. I don't have a sense of scale/size. To me it looks like a mayfly larvae but they shouldn't be in saltwater, much less in a tank.

Well my tank is right by the sliding door leading to my deck so it could be an outside bug that died in the tank lol that’s why I posted it here.. just wanna make sure if it is a hitchhiker it’s not a bad one
 
Yes, looks like an outside bug, not an amphipod. Amphipods are laterally compressed, this is just the opposite.
 
Also amphipods are great to have, I've added them to my tank several times, but so far they haven't really gotten themselves established like the copepods have.
