Amphipods in my nano reef

I did seed these animals in a previous tank. During a tank crash a view months ago I did see dozens dead. But they are hardy apparently because there are plenty young ones left. I like these in my tank. Eating left over food and stuff. I don't know if they are feeding my sand sifting star as wel. I spot feed it. But this starfish has been in my tank for months now.

just watch at night if you have zoas some species of those pods chow on them and its ng.Most likely they are not them they look huge an like the alien from the movie aliens.

These are gammarus gammarus. The normal species. The grow to about 0,20 inch
