Amphipods or baby trochus snail?

Hey guys,

The below pictures is what Im talking about here.

Approximately 3 months ago I seeded my tank with copepods and anthropods.

3 weeks ago my trochus snail climbed my tank and reproduced.( very cool to see, see my build thread for that one)

7 days ago I noticed the first picture below. Looked to me as amphipods that died and were in my corner over flows. I could count maybe 6.

Today I see the second picture and can count twenty.

Third picture is another close up of today
Any thoughts on what Im seeing?

is it moving? I had some stuff appear on the glass recently (4 months old tank) and I am pretty sure it's some kind of tiny sponge

Nope does not move at all. I suppose it could be a sponge. I just figured it was dead amphipods by the way it looked.

The first time I noticed trochus snail babies they looked like minuscule versions of the adults.

Good insight, that may be what it is. They are somewhat similar.
