+1No 2 separate critters
do you have a dragonet/mandarin or other fish that is eating the pods? if not, there's no need.ah. How often should I replenish pods? I have a 13.5
I added a bottle every month for a couple of months. I have a 125 , so it's going to depend on what pod eaters you have.ah. How often should I replenish pods? I have a 13.5
If you can see pods on your rocks, glass and sand, then you probably don't need to add any. Also, what are you feeding your mandarin? mine's captive bred and only eats pods.I have a biota Mandarin eating everything I I put in my tank. I just want to add pods for extra food
Just keep an eye on both . Normally the amthipods will self regulate once they get used to the amount of food available. If you're dosing Phytoplankton then you shouldn't have a issue either way . Copepods will eat the free floating algea Amthipods will eat the detritus and larger algae so everyone can coexist peacefullyI read that amphipods eat copepods as you said. It’s been 2 weeks since I added 1200 amphipods. I already had tons of copepods. I see my fish and shrimp hunting thrn both all day especially my wrasse.
Perfect combo ! If your interested next time you need Phyto shoot me a message I've gotten pretty good reviews on mine . Or just look it up on Ebay jaysreefbugs. You have the right idea I don't think you will have any issues at allYeah I am adding reef roids and I ordered some phytoplankton from algae barn.
