Anyone know anything about this species of Clownfish? It’s common name seems to be the Theilli Anemonefish (I assume it’s also the Theilli Clownfish in some areas). They look beautiful, almost like a misbar occelaris. Anyone know if one of these species would get along with:
- Pink Streak Wrasse
- Griessingers Goby
- Linear Blenny
- Hectors Goby
- Yasha Goby
- Acicularis Clown Goby
(I’m sure I’m missing a couple).
I’d love to know about their aggression/behaviour, wether they would get along with the named fish above, and if it’s a good candidate for a Red Sea Max Nano.

Here’s a photo of one from a reef builders article.

Clownfish are relatively peaceful with the most aggressive being the maroons. I haven’t seen a suggestion not recommending a clownfish based on your stocking list.

I say it will work.

I found this online:

“Amphiprion “thiellei” is a naturally occurring hybrid between two species in the genus Amphiprion. A. ocellaris x A. sandaracinos”

Those are the more peaceful clowns IMO.

Thankyou!
I guess now it’s just a waiting game for the two current wrasse out of the Naoko Fairy and Blue Star Leopard to outgrow it (Or one of the two).
Usually I don’t like hybrids but man this one looks beautiful and not like a horrid mix between its two parent species.
Besides, I have a Ricordea Yuma mushroom that won’t quit growing and if I can’t get it to quit growing then I may aswell have something to host it.
