So I have these I'm going to say ampipods. They look exactly like mysis shrimp tons of them the sand crawls a night I swear they out number the grains of sand lol but every morning I have a hydor 1200 that kicks on plus all wave makers ramp up to 100% for about 30 min to help stir up detritus but when this happens there are tons of molts from these shrimp. I know iodine is important for molting shrimp is this something I should be looking into oram I over thinking it?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. You will be replacing some iodine with WCs. If iodine is a limiting element for them, they'll eventually reach an equilibrium when they hit the carrying capacity of the tank. Congrats on having a thriving population!
