Amquel dose and now tank is red

I dosed my 90gal. 30 gal. sump with a little and I mean about a TBS or just over with "reef safe" Amquel. A couple hours later red water and skimmer blown its top. No meds in the tank. I am sure there is a good reason reefers do not use it, I have not until today. But it did not say anything on the bottle. I did a 35 gal. water change just now and not sure what else to do. I know you all will be rolling your eyes but be kind and understand I already know I did the wrong thing.. Thanks!

I would love to know why this happened, what I can expect as far as anything dying in my tank, and what else I need to do to fix it, thanks!!
