I have this white fuzz growing on the base of my sonic the hedgehog galaxea coral. Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it. I can find it anywhere.

Type of sponge. Manual removal as it is smothering your coral. Use any type of pick/needle to scrape away.

Looks like cryptic sponges. I had them and scraped them off, but they came back. I didn't have any fish in the tank at the time, so stopped feeding the corals and they were gone in a week or two. If you can remove the rock, exposing many types of sponges to air will kill them. I'm don't know about these though.
