An ongoing extinction

I tested for stray voltage, there is none.
So metal removing comes next.
I highly recommend sending in a reliable ICP to confirm before adding a metal remover. A large waterchange would dilute everything incase of any contaminants, AND will help re-balance everything, unless something is coming through the source water. Stripping the water may do more harm than good if there isn't anything contaminating it

So I was looking for rusting since I really don't want to mess things up, I did find rusting parts but only on the metal stand. I wonder whether something could get into the tank despite the rusting areas being on the sides.

(These are the only spots of rusting which I still find quite peculiar, because the stand is covered with a special paint that they use to paint locomotives carriages and such.)

Your tank needs food, micro life, and time. Lots of time. You probably haven’t started putting food in until recently so now the life cycle of the tank is starting. Hang on and enjoy the ride. Don’t get more corals until you have control again though imo. Good luck.

Here is another update:
Nothing changed, everything looks bad to this day, favites is near dead while the hammer withered away

So what had been done ?
-dosed against heavy metals
-increased flow a tiny bit
-constant temperatures: 25.8°C
Additionaly to disclose my butterfly nipping the corals, I placed a zoa colony into my refugium, the zoa is yet to open.
-> no changes have been seen so far

Next theory: toxins
I'll get fresh activated carbon asap to disclose this aswell

Probably not toxins
