So I bought this anacropora and it was originally glued down sideways. I’ll draw a pic. So I dragged it the right side up so it’d grow upwards. Since it was glued sideways, the underside is all skeleton because it didn’t have light. So now half my frag is skeleton and my coral isn’t coloring up anymore. Also not sure if it’s tissue has receded or if it bleached bc it’s so new what should I do? I’ve been feeding it to promote growth and all. For the recovery process, low or high light? Ik they go anywhere from 100-300 PAR so?

As long as it has color it can recover if your conditions are right.
These coral can take 100-300 PAR idk which to keep it at for recovery, high, or low. High risks too much exposure and low makes risk for not enough.

I have tons of that stuff and learned a few lessons. It doesn’t like high flow or high light like acropora does. Id say 150-200 par to start. I know, i know but just mount it sideways. Electric lemonade and goldenrod both grow better slightly tilted up from flat. Once they start to grow and it will tear off at about 1 year, it will bush upward. Also, get used to you or your fish breaking it. It also does not ever encrust. It is however stunning when it grows put and colors up. My golden rod take about 1 1/2 yrs to show pink dots. Pics are Golden rod first. Electric lemonade last

The reason you mount anacropora sideways is because they don't base out like acros. So sideways gives them a stable platform to branch out.

I never buy in to light bandaid treatment. I just leave them where they are supposed to be.

If the coral was shaded its neither sick or needs recovery. It looks like you have it next to some sort of happy LPS so intensity is not a problem but warfare will be. Just mount the thing somewhere that looks nice and it will color up on its own. Like mentioned give it a nice ledge and watch it take over your tank. They're super hardy and can be quite invasive when well loved.

It’s a toadstool that it’s next to, or the anemone? Regardless the toadstool can be in very low light and be happy..
