First off, coral health has been spectacular the past few weeks since this spot has developed. The coral in question had been growing very well as well.

White spot is on the underside of the coral. It sits on 300ish par but the underside obviously gets considerably less. Flow is significant in this area.

Looks the same color as the growth on the new tips, just not protruding..

What does everyone think?

Might be a little patch of TN. Really just looks like growth, hard to tell. Is the white area growing? or look like the tissue is gone there?

It looks as if the tissue is gone to be honest. But the growth on this coral over two weeks had been really good so overall the coral is doing very well.

That's why it has me stumped.

I'll see if I can get a better picture.

Definitely looks like TN. I've never kept Anacropora so don't have much knowledge on the requirements. Maybe someone else will have better info. Shading would be my only guess.

Me too. I mean it is one of the easier sps to keep. If it was anything other than shading, I have some much more finicky that would be upset.

Thanks for your help!

Looks like shading and it's at a angle. Can you mount it more up right?

Picture is under blue only with WB correction but wanted to say, I ended up fragging that piece off and gluing the white spot to the plug. Both pieces are doing really well.
