Anampses neoguinaicus info please ASAP

Does anyone know if Anampses neoguinaicus are aggressive towards each other? I have one female right now in my 93g cube and the pet store has another female and it's got an awesome price on it so I was thinking of getting it. I'm holding off until I get some info on whether they will fight or not.

Hi I have a Anampses neoguinaicus already in my 93g cube that is I think a female and the pet store has had another one there for quite some time and they have lowered the price quite low. If I add another one will they fight? The one in the store is also a female. Or will they pair up and one turn into a male? I had them hold it for me until I find out if they will kill each other or now. Thanks in advance!!

You should be mostly safe given that yours is female (and I recall the photo of it; it is certainly female).

The one thing you never want to do with any wrasse is add two males of the SAME species. Adding another female alongside an existing female is pretty safe, but you'll still need to be observant.

Lastly, it's possible one may turn male eventually, but with Anampses the "rules" here are very ill-defined. There's no guarantees by any means; you may always have two females.
