This was my MrAqua 3G that I had virtually maintenance free for a few years.

Full of Opal Ula shrimp, Nerita picea, and a lone Calcinus Laevimanus.

Single Fluval Bright White 5200K LED, no filter, and infrequent water changes just to vacuum plants or alga that didn't like the 15ppt. Dusting of black Zoomed reptil-sand covers the floor.

Recently transferred all of its contents into a Zoomed Lowboy 50 Anchialine Pool.

Single Eheim Up powerhead, and 3 Satellite Plus 6500K LEDs. Experimenting with durations and intensities. Pics later.

With the introduction of some plant rock, there are lots of new macros to enjoy.

Awesome concept, how difficult was it to set up?

Zero difficulty to set up as the Shrimp arrived from neighbor with a couple cultured lava rocks with a lush green lawn.

Best light for that tank is actually a 6500K Fluval bright white LED on for 12hrs.

Tons of shrimp to rehome.

Just didn’t enjoy the 50 breeder as much as the nano tank so I used the largest black lava rock from the bottom and set up a low iron 12.7G tall.

Lots of plankton now.

Due to the shape of the main rock, it will not fit into the golden thirds. Move it far right anyway or leave it? Ready to putty. Thanks.
