So I started of with a 2 head Zoa and it grew to 6, I went to bed one night and woke up to then there were none. I have no clue what happened or where they went.

Only thing I added was an emerald crab and a few blue hermit crabs 2 days prior.

60g Cube
20g sump
Temp - 79
Salinity - 1.025
No3 - 2
Po4 - 0
CA - 420
Alk - 8.3

1 Coral Beauty
2 Perculas Clown
2 Yellow Damsels
2 bl/gr Chromes
1 Starry Blenny

My dwarf angel (lemon peel) and starry blenny had a taste for zoas. It is possible the hermit crabs could have destroyed them.

Thanks everyone I just found it odd that they have been in there for a few months or longer and then gone. I guess I will keep an eye on my angle or crabs once my Blenny was added after the fact can't blam him.

Coral Beauty would be my guess as well. They can go a year or two without seemingly paying attention to a coral, then overnight decide that it is the best snack ever.

Thank you he has been put on the most wanted list....

My hermit plucks off polyps... it's plucked off all of 3 kinds of zoas.. costing me like $50 or more.. and then a tiny mushroom it plucked off twice.. it leaves the glue.. it's a special hermit... I want it dead. lol

I guess it's the price you pay in this hobby.
