André's 11g custom AIO - now bare bottom!

Got myself some new corals!!

Arrived today after 3 days in transit, so they are probably still a bit drunk hehe.

Was sold as Hawaii Blue Agave ^^

Here he is, after a few days in the tank - really like these kind of zoas, which have a different pattern on every single polyp!

Thanks!

All the corals seem to be doing well, except for my euphyllia torch coral.

Not sure what's happening to it, but doesn't look as happy or healthy as it once did.

Don't really have a close up shot at the moment, but he can be seen in the right side, tentacles almost not reaching at all. Doesn't have brown jelly as far as I can tell, but I something is not right. Will try to get a better shot tomorrow ...

So here are some pics of the euphyllia torch. Have it for a few months now, and it took a turn for the worst in this last month.

All other corals seem ok and thriving.

What do you see?

How is the tank doing? Do you dip corals before placing in the DT?

Sadly, my torch coral seems to have faded away completely. In another post it was mentioned that I may have made too many changes in a short period of time.

That unfortunate event aside, seems to be doing well!

Recently decided I would go bare bottom on it - so am planning that move at the moment!

Will post some pictures when the change is done ^^

Another Zoa pic ^^

Wish I could get my hands on some of the more exciting ones, but not easy where I live.

Hey guys,

All going well so far after going bare bottom.

My Garf Bonsai Acropora is recovering from a salinity issue (almost lost it).

Managed to get two new SPS frags from a trip to the mainland. Still soon to call it, but I do see some polyp extension which is good. Here are some pics!

Hello all,

It's been a while since my last update, have been traveling a bit and havent found the time to post.

The tank seems to be doing well overall. My plans to keep SPS growing relying only on water changes doesn't look like its holding up, as im not noticing much growth. Might have to do something about that in the near future. Any advice is welcome.

Recently added a cleaner shrimp to the tank. Havent actually seen him clean the clownfish, but they are hovering around each other...he does steal the clown's food, so he's keeping his mouth clean? Idk...

Anyway, here are some updated photos!

Cheers
