Any chance you can post pictures? It's hard for me to comprehend an anemone without tentacles. Do you know the species of anemone you've got?

its a rinbow the guy I got it from said I have no ideal how to get pictures on here first night using the sight'

Did it have tentacles when you received it? Sorry you already answered that. No tentacles one morning? Do you know your tank parameters?

What you're describing sounds like it's tentacles have deflated and retracted, typically this is due to some kind of stressor in the tank, or the tank itself. Poor water quality, flow patterns, insufficient lighting, or disease; which is much rarer but happens. If you could give us some more information about your tank like lighting specifics, size, pumps and more importantly water quality parameters it would help us to more easily help you, but right now it sounds like your bubble tip anemone isn't too happy.

I noticed you had posted a MH light for sale, cause you got a new tank..... I believe that is your problem , your tank needs to be established at least 6-9 ,months min. I tried one a couple years ago at 4 months, and no success.... I waited till 1 year mark, and mine has been great ever since, and its almost 2 years now.

My nems will close up and then open up occasionally. Lighting should not be a issue they will move to a spot that makes them happy. You need to test water parameters to make sure everything is in proper range. Like all corals they require excellent water conditions.

Everything sounds reasonable. If you want to post a picture which would be very helpful for us to help you out put it on Pintrest, photobucket, or similar. You can then click the little image icon (looks like a tree) and past the link in the url box. That should link the image to the other site and permit us to see what the anemone looks like. I really don't have any thing else to offer at this point.
