I did remove him from tank.. he's been In a bowl for 2 hours nowWhat kind of nem? and pics of nem as it is now and any pieces that may resemble a nem. It would also be good to list out tank age, size and current params. Also need to know if params stay stable,
All of the above is needed to guage if tank is mature enough and stable enough for the nem to recover and to determine if it may be bes tto just remove nem and not foul a tank.
I will say, I have seen 100s of BTA go through power heads and recover just fine, but I have seen 100s do the same and not fair well. All depends on tank, how bad the nem was tore up, etc.

How large is the tank? Gallon wise.I put anemone in bowl that's floating on top of tank. Tank is 5months old, I am new to saltwater so some abbreviations I don't know. Sorry
Ok thanks so much...How large is the tank? Gallon wise.
You do have a few options, as it looks like the nem was split in half, but I could be wrong in that.
I would not put nem back in the tank directly. I would fashion up a crossstich mesh box,, poke a ton of small holes in a small plastic tupperware container or something to put the nem in, but allow tank water to flow through it.
You do not ant to put holes in the bottom 1" or so.
Let the nem sit in that and use something to hold it at the top corner of the tank and monitor the nem. If it looks like it is recovering, just keep it there until it does. If it looks like it is melting, remove it.
OK, so not a nano and buys you a little time if the nem starts to melt. Just did not want you try this in a 15g waterbox cube or a fluval evo 5 or something.40gall
I ordered a mesh to go around the pump. But it's not arriving until today smh.. its a 2 head wave maker. I'm heading to grab foam in the meantime even though anemone not in takeOK, so not a nano and buys you a little time if the nem starts to melt. While cirpo and a hosptial tank could be an option, it would require that you already have some on hand. If you do, let me know,. If not, no worries. The post above is usually the best bet to try. You just have to be sure to remove as soon as the nem looks like it is melting. We do not want it fouling up the tank.
Also, what kind of poerhead do you have? Most can have a diy nem guard made for a few buck with all items available at a sewing store or walmart.
Nem gaurds are always good to have if you plan to have nems. And for whatever reason, something like this always happens we we try to prepare for it. It just happens right before our plan is finished.I ordered a mesh to go around the pump. But it's not arriving until today smh.. its a 2 head wave maker.
