I wouldn't be overly concerned at this point. Anemones are slow to change in a tank. I've seen them push their gut out of their oral disk and leave it like that for a couple of days and then go back to normal.

This is an animal that you really need to give it time and not jump to react to a change in appearances.

Good luck.

These are some normal behaviors of anemones there very much their own minded they kind of do as they want and I see people on this forum every single day worried concerned and trying to mess with them the best thing that you can do is leave it be and let it do its thing I cannot stress this enough when it comes to these anemones you're good I've had several different species they've all acted pretty much the same way some days they suck up some days they blow up and are beautiful I've even had them have their mouths turn somewhere inside out and transparent just to be fine still

thanks for the help thanks guys
i have a 30W light the PAR i think is 36 at 12“ below sea level
could it be my light?

A PAR of 36 is quite weak. Soft corals like 50 to 100+. Anemones typically like even more.

I'm not sure that is why your nem is doing what it's doing, but that PAR level is too low for the long run. IMHO.

When it’s ready it will move to find the best place. If par is to low at the bottom of your tank she will move up.

My BTAs moved to 275 PAR area..... my Gig is on the bottom at 225 PAR and hasn’t moved from where I put it.

A BTA wants a LOT more light than 36 PAR
