i got a new anemome form LFS yesterday, dug a small hole in sand and even had the power head off the whole night. Seems as he is not interested in sticking any where. With in the last hour I turned the power head on and now he is floating... Any suggestions?

What kind of lighting do you have? These animals require a high intensity light to survive. Also, if it's floating around, I'd turn off the PH until it settles down.

Led lights- 2units they are nice I got them from a friend he said he paid $275 each..

Dig a small hole in the sand next to a rock base. Place the foot in the sand depression and gently scoop the sand back around the foot, kinda trapping it a bit. Leave the PH off if you can.

It's a LTA. Mine "settled" in one spot for a week, but never was happy. Up and moved one day, planted, and has been great since. Give it time, low flow, and plenty of light.

As stated above, place next to rocks somewhat trapping it and pushing the sand back around it. Definitely keep the powerhead off during this time. I just did this the other night and by morning it had attached. Hope our info helps! Good luck

My guess is that the foot was damaged when removed from the LFS. I'd put it in a small Tuperware and cover the top with a netting/screen and hopefully it will attach to the side of the Tuperware.
