It did well for about 3 days and moved to a spot it liked so I figured I was set! Then it bleached and retracted for about a week. I turned down the lights in case it was too much for it. The morphology / physical appearance is great other than the bleached color. It has moved about 1 other time in 2 months so I think it is happy w/ the spot. I have been feeding it 1/2 krill soaked in selcon a few times a week to help resuscitate, but I feel like I am missing something. Any thoughts? All tank parameters are in check.

In fact all my reds are not quite colorful anymore... maybe I am missing something. I use high end coral salt pro and do H20 changes about 1-2x / week.

If you look at the before pic, you'll notice a nice coating of algae on your rocks and the after pic the rocks look void of any....maybe you're running a ULNS without know it?

Haha, I wish Rob, well at least I do not think I am. I have been battling a dino problem for the past 2 weeks. I have to whip diatoms off the glass about 3-4x / week to keep it clean.... I just took that 2nd photo after a H20 change... cause I am embarrassed about the tank. Always gotta put on your best face :) I'm sure as a fellow southerner you are well aware of that sentiment.
