Anemone closing throughout the day

Is it normal for my anemone to close and open throughout the day? I’ve had this bta for over a month and it’s closed 50% of the time I would say. I’m just wondering there is ways to make him be open more. I feed mysis once a week to him.

what is your lighting like? Climbing on glass is usually a lighting issue could also be the issue your having now. Age of tank?

around 50% intensity on radions tank is 10 months old

But also it opens up at night a lot more then day

Yeah honestly not to sure as long as his foot is still attached that’s good is the food sticking to the tentacles

Any time I feed he engulfs it so I cant really see if it sticks to the tentacles

I would not worry too much how long have you had it any other photos?

I've had it a lil bit over a month right now its opening as the lights are dimming. I'm assuming maybe my light could be too strong, but I cant really lower it since my other corals have been getting ***** with me changing the lights. I'm pretty confident its not dying, but I just wish it would be open throughout the day.

Can you lower your lighting when there on full he is saying man that’s bright it wasn’t like that in my last place . Like I said a lot of people lower lighting and slowly over a period turn them up . Like above said only be concerned when it has a gaping mouth over a long period or cannot foot to surfaces. Like Stephen said photo would be good in white light just in case there’s something else going on. Anemones can take time to settle in properly to its new environment water quality/ flow / lighting.
