I've just relocated from a 35g to a 75g bowfront, and I have a pair of Ocellaris Clowns and two Anemone (Carpet and Rittori), both of which stay down by the sand and neither of which the Clowns show any interest in.

I am wondering:

Can I introduce another Anemone into this tank?
If yes, what is a recommendation for an additional Anemone?
Will the Clowns choose to be hosted by the new Anemone?

Thanks! I've attached a pic of the new tank. Haven't yet got everything situated into a final resting place, but it gives a good idea of what I have.

The short answer: yes, you can add another nem. You seem to have plenty of room so type shouldn't matter too much, within reason. Lastly, the clowns aren't hosted, the nem is and there's no guarantee adding another nem will do anything to establish the relationship. My guess is, the clowns won't treat the new nem any differently, but you never know. IMO, I wouldn't buy another one just for hosting purposes. The act of hosting is not required, everyone just assumes that's how clowns should behave so they want to see them host a nem in their own reef. Be patient, give it time. Mine took almost a year before finally hosting my RBTA, could very easily take much longer.

From what I've read no one can answer whether or not your clowns will host any additional or current anemone. Just my .02.
Bumping to help you with whether or not you can add another anemone.

Thanks for the info guys. If I do move forward with getting another Anemone, are they any that come to mind that I should stay away from?
