Hey everyone!!!
So I have been looking into bleaching, just so I know what it is. However, maybe I did too much research, which leads me to questions.

How do you know when an anemone is bleaching, essentially I am looking for signs before its too late.
Is my anemone starting to bleach? The color doesn't seem to be as bright as it once was.
Also, corals can be bleached as well so is the same process as an anemone or would I look for something different when it comes to corals.

Thanks everyone, I hope my questions are clear.

Ok so this is kind of a complicated question, but also kind of an easy one, but I'll give you the best answer I can.

We first have to start out with knowing a few baseline things. For starters, the reason Nems appear the color that they do is because of the color of the zoos being hosted inside of them. They use what those zoos give off as food. If the light intensity AND/OR spectrum are off, the zoos are not able to maintain their current health and as a result usually start to die off and the nem usually spits them out. So if the colors start to fade, that's usually your first indicator that your nem is not happy with your lighting. Again though you can be too bright, not enough, wrong spectrum....etc.

Your nems appear to be browning out and fading which is usually an indication of a combination of too bright and wrong spectrum.

Okay that does make sense but I would think my light isn’t too bright because the par rating is low, I would think they wouldn’t have enough rather than too much. Here are some pictures
