So yesterday I added an anemone crab to my 20gal. He only had one claw but I figured he would be fine because I don't believe I have anything that preys on them.
Came back today to find nothing but the carapice lying in the sand.
I currently have 2 small davinci clowns, a small pajama cardinal fish, 5 nassarius, 2 turbos, a cleaner shrimp, a decorator crab the hitchhiked in and a fromea starfish.

There's no telling. Probably rule out the fish and the snails though lol. Ocellaris are pretty peaceful and I'm not sure Cardinal fish even have two brain cells rubbing together sometimes lol. Snails eat algea.

Shrimp are opportunists, a missing limb crab may have been an easy meal.
Same could be said for the other crab.

I also have noticed a clicking sound in my live rock. Maybe whatever that is...

Definitely guessing you have a mantis shrimp. They’re super hard to get out of the rock though

Ever try to keep a pirate as a pet? your mantis shrimp just took that tank for himself.
I actually thought about getting one in a smaller tank in my office. Their vision is incredible, really impressive how good they are at what they do.

Yea they are awesome; up there with cephalopods in my book. Just don’t want them eating 80$ fish steaks.
