I didnt know you can keep multiple together! Are they male/female or does it matter?

thats so sick, thank you! Do you think they would be aggressive towards a white spot anemone shrimp? Given there are lots of anemones

No I think they would be fine. In the wild it is common for a single anemone to host 5, 10, or even more fish and inverts of different varieties. Sexy shrimp and porcelain crab’s don’t seem to bother each other and will share anemones.

These guys have their own anemones when one splits. I am currently trying to capture one anemone so one is without a home. They don't always hang with the anemone. One will hang on an acro at night and filter feed. Sometimes at the base of a torch. I don't think I have ever seen them together within the same anemone though, I think that would be trouble. Overall though they live with each other pretty well.

What is a good way to identify the sex of an anemone crab?

I believe its the same as other crabs, males have a triangular abdominal plate while females have a wide, round shaped one to carry patches of eggs.
