Seems like a stupid question but I can't tell if my new arrival is alive or dead. i just received via UPS an anemone but can't tell if it's alive. It does not move at all and the shipping package was cold. The pink underbelly was extended. I acclimated it and placed it in the tank (yes, at my own risk without quarantine) and still no movement but it seems that it's attached to the rock but not certain and I don't want to traumatized it further today. It's not a bubble. They called it a ultra rock. Am I missing something?

Rock anemone are not prone to moving around as much as others. So if it attached to the rock it may stay there for a while until it decides to try another location.

Sorry for multiple pic posts. The bottom pic is the one in question but while I was at it, why is my other anemone rolled up in a ball - is that normal? Thanks

looks fine. i mean you just got them, sure they can be stressed. they will go into little balls when stress or even expelling waste. should be good , keep us posted if anything.

Thanks. I've had the bubble for a few days and this is the first time he rolled all the way up in a ball.

Looks like a healthy rock anemone to me. Once he gets planted in a rock, he won't move.

Both anemones look like acclimating anemones, not a biggie. I would leave them be, no feeding, no moving.
