I had a bubbletip i got Sept 27 looked like a condy but it had definate bubbles. Over the months it morphed in color taking a pink and green color. About a month ago it stopped extending tenticles, last 3 weeks the mouth was gaping, no extension, and today it was real easy to detach, so I flushed it. The other anemone is doing great, huge flowy rose there. ANy clue what could have happened?

Tank about a year, 9.9 dkh, 470 ca, 1350 mag, 1.025 salinity, 7.79 PH 77.9 degrees f

Anemones are weird. I have not been able to really find a whole lot of information on them. More just from personal expierence. I have a clown anemone tank that does really well. However I have had the same thing happen to me. My tank is mostly green and rose bta. No matter what I do now, if I add a different type of anemone, it is a 50/50 shot of if it is going to make it or not. I lost a gorgeous carpet for no reason. Did really well for about a month and then over the next month it died. The same has happened for cinnamon bta's. Rock or flower anemones always do well. I wish I had a better answer for you and myself.
