Well, two weeks into this and I'm learning all about what I don't know. Got an Octo Pulse (small one for 50 gal Water box) and last night found anemone with his foot well into it and some tentacles also. Stopped it and this morning had freed himself. Looks a little lopsided but thought he'd be OK. Now I notice my shrimp is all over him, I'm guessing this is because he's either dead or the injury has freed up some body goo the shrimp is feasting on. Any advice? (and I really liked the anemone!)

Welcome to R2R!

A pic of the anemone and a lot more information about your system (parameters, lighting) would be needed to give you advice.

if I am reading correctly, and you just set this tank up two weeks ago, my first two pieces of advice would be to start reading up in the anemone forum, and don’t buy any any more anemones.

I'd say that's good advice. No more anemones until I understand them. LFS should probably have cautioned me on that. Read I shall. Thanks.
