I recently got my first bubble tip anemone. Been putting it off because I was afraid it would move around and sting my corals but the guy I was trading with convinced me so I brought it home. I put it halfway up on a rock and no surprise it moved but not around, it moved back into a cave hidden almost completely away from light and view. It’s been slowly coming out and I kind of expected that.

But today.... I was playing with my controller online today and somehow messed up my lights so only my white channel was coming on. All day. I got home and wow! It was out in full glory! fully extended! I got all excited until I turned my blue channel back on and he shrunk back into his cave almost instantly. The guy I got it from was keeping it in a clown den that only had halides above it so this kind of makes sense. Am I giving it to much light or does it just need to acclimate for a little longer? It’s been in for almost a week now.

its always safer to acclimate slowly. I dont think it will bleach, if your water params are good it should be ok
