Hey R2R! I'm looking for some tank inspiration!
I'm planning to set up a Red Sea in the next few months and would like to make it an anemone only tank with a pair of Gold Nugget clowns. I'm planing to have several variations of BTAs in the tank. The collection has already started, I'm at five varieties/color variations lol.
So if you don't mind, I would love to see some pictures of your anemone tanks to gather ideas on how I want to set up my tank! Any tips as well would be greatly appreciated:)

Thanks,
Cody.P

Tagging along. Lets see pics of the BTAs u've so far collected.

Collection thus far.
Also getting the standard rainbow, just no pic yet :) hoping to also pick up a flame tip from my local shop in a few weeks!

Beautiful anemones.

Your local shop sells flame tips? Where is that at, I think I need to move.
Nice collection so far.

Haha they are "trying" to bring in a couple. Definitely not regularly stocked :)
And thanks for the kind words!

I meant to mention that according to an old article in the magazine CORAL. Tropical anemones like temps of 80 - 82 and that their biological processes at 77 is half of that at 82. Just something that I found interesting especially with the talk of keeping coral at even lower temps these days.

I've never heard that! That's crazy but makes since! May have to test it out with a nem tank haha

I believe the issue was from 2010 the article was on feeding tropical anemones.

That explains a lot - I ran my mixed reef @ 82'F for about 6 mos; feeding mysis 2-3x a week. It was a nem 'splosion. 1 to 17 large, healthy nems. Here s a pic after the first couple of splits from a few years ago. They're under 20ks and 4x t5 blues.
