Hello! Apologies if this is in the wrong sub forum, as I just joined today.
I have an aiptasia anemone. Yes, I know, a pest. But it’s been there for over a year and it hasn’t multiplied or done any harm, so I’ve just let it be and even grew fond of it over time.
Now, today I woke up to find it looking unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. This is really freaking me out because I can’t find anything even remotely related to this online. Is that the anemone stalk bloating, or is it some other translucent creature consuming it? I saw one tentacle drop off of it. Is it going to explode and make a million more? Do I need to get this out of the tank ASAP? Any info at all would be greatly appreciated as I don’t want the other tank inhabitants to be affected!!

Edited to add another picture because it keeps getting bigger by the minute.
Edited again to add that there are smaller tentacles within it.
