First of all let me state that my tank is a year old and parameters good just so no worries there. Any-who, I haven't owned an anemone since I was a kid, so I can't remember a lot about their nature. A week ago, I purchased a BTA and "Manny" is doing great and found his spot (have a LR island for him away from the coral) and within 48 hours was hosting my female Ocellaris (the male could care less at the moment) so life was good in my Nano reef. However, every couple of days he contracts and pushes out this white stringy stuff. After a couple of hours, he is back to his normal self, waving his tentacle in the current. What is this stuff?
