I'm looking for a sweet nem that doesnt get to the point where it takes up most of my tank but isnt the normal mini maxi or bubble tip. Any thoughts?

How big is your tank? Unfortunately, most other types will under proper care become rather large. You could always get small specimens and then trade out when they get too large for your taste. Just feed sparingly to maintain the small size longer.

Just be aware that a carpet in tight quarters makes a dangerous neighbor for anybody but a clownfish.

Being a smaller tank you are kinda limited. Also you seem to not want the types that are smaller... Tube Anenome is a good idea or maybe just get an inexpensive condy and trade it out when it gets too big... If you exchange the nem you never know what the temperment will be for moving and stuff.

IMHO you shouldn't add something to the tank that you know you will need to take out when it gets too big, unless of course an upgrade is in the very near future...

Perhaps a tube anemone

Would absolutely not do a tube anemone. They get big and the tentacles can stretch out a long way and they are powerful. I had one in a FOWLR tank and it took out a hydnophora and a rbta. Maxi minis are nice but they also can get big and pack a powerful sting.

Given that you didn't have any exceptions, BTa and flower nem are your only options. Bigger nems need bigger tanks.
