Over the last few weeks my Anemone has gone downhill quickly. I feed it a piece of krill three times a week. I have adequate lighting. My parameters read out. I just don't want to lose my first anemone :( tank is over 2 months old and it seemed to be thriving early on in its acclimation process.. any tips on what I can do to make it better?

One thought I have is it isn't getting the flow it needs in its part of the tank. I am considering moving it to a area with a little bit of flow but don't want to stress it out any more than I already have.

Unfortunately, anemone's tend to have poor survival rates in new systems. I wouldn't move it. It can and will move if it wants. I lost my first nem the exact same way. Was eating great and looked good for 2 or 3 weeks then just went down hill. 2 months later I got a nem from the same LFS and it is doing great.

What kind of lights are you running? How high are your nitrates?

I am running a 6 inch 3 watt blue/day light lamp on top of the 5 gallon tank. I am not sure of my nitrates however I will bring in a water sample today to get it checked and get back to you.

That's not enough light for an anemone, and it would be difficult to keep an anemone in a tank so small due to fluctuating water chemistry.
