Alright, so on Wednesday I moved my tank, kept the nems on the rock and kept it under water. Both nems survived and looked perfect, ate and everything. Woke up this morning and can't find my BW, I havn't moved any rocks in case he's somewhere down there. Parameters are all normal, skimmer isn't freaking out, and tank doesn't smell like dead nem. This happen to anyone else?

What's a BW?

I'm kinda trippin on all the people over here that think they need to keep nems submerged, you don't really need to if moving or relocating, it's not like sponge.

Oh, ok, so guessing you mean a BTA , all these made up names...
Reason I ask is LTA are known to bury in sand hidden, so kind of nem helps give answers.

Of course water is not hurting, duh...merely pointing out you do not HAVE to keep them submerged, was trying to help dude...

He's probably just looking good for a new spot. He'l turn up.

I appreciate it, I didn't know they could be out for a long time, just wanted to keep the chuck of rock water because there is no way I'm getting a nem foot out of a 4 inch hole.

Sometimes anemone's are exposed half a day on low tide, and most quality, informed shippers bag them in almost no water as they ship better and hold their ownn water just fine.
I just have seen this mentioned a lot on this site for some reason.
Post pics and tank specs, time running if you can.

Typically BW is short for black and white clowns, there's no shortage of made up names on a lot of these BTAs lately

Quick update, found the nem upside out in the sand, poor guy looks stressed out of his mind. Put him on the rock hoping he'll grab on.

Do u have an acclimation box of sorts u could hold him in ?

Even one of those mesh breeder nets...they can be bought most anywhere. It would give u time to watch him and easier to remove if he goes south...

Great news, when I left my nem is completely inside out with it's foot retracting into it's body not grabbing onto anything. Just got home to see the little guy puffed up and holding on. These nem is giving me grey hair.

Second update, I think I found the root of the nems stress. Cleaner shrimp is picking on it at night, and I think he's to small to defend himself.
