Anemone hanging by a thread

Has anyone ever had an anemone hanging by a thread like this? I've had 2 previous nems that lasted about a month and this one is about a month in now. All my params are spot and I just can't figure out why I can't keep nems. He's been doing great up until now but last couple of days has been hiding from the light and now swinging as he holds on by a thread. Maybe this is normal behaviour?

Doesnt look dead but i would place him in a dish out in the light and let him foot up on rocks you place inside the dish. Feed some mysis once per week.

How old is the tank?

I have my nems in dishes at the water line so they cant walk around.
They like to crawl into dark areas and then die.

hi welcome to the reef,i would for sure put in something to attach and control for now,don't want it being sucked into equipment
