My GF got an anemone. I put it in a crevice and turn the pumps back on. After a bit it "spasmed" and shot off the rock. After that it proceeded to float around my tank in the flow. Eventually it landed behind a rock.

What should I do?

Now it's balled up.

Let it find a place. Condy nems stick to the rock work , how is the foot ?

What do you mean by how is the foot? It's currently balled up. It just tumbles around if I turn my power heads on.

By foot I mean the bottom of the nem, does it have any damage ?
It’s best to leave the pw off for a while, so it’s able to stick to the rock work.

Gotcha. No damage that I see.
I got it out from behind the rock. I just sat it in a crevice and it is opening up but all the tentacles are flat.

It looks like crap

It’s not going to look good for about a week as it’s adjusting to the new environment, stay away form feeding or messing with it.
You have all the requirements a nem needs to thrive ?

Should be good, just let it try to attack to the rock, and it’s best not to spot feed for the next 1 week. Have fun, anemones are cool!

Turn your blowers off for a little and let the nem settle down for a couple hours / overnight.

Once it has settled and found a spot where it’s foot attached then you can turn your blowers back on. Most likely it will move around until it’s comfortable but at that point you’ll know the foot is stable enough to attach to rock.
Hard to tell what kind of nem it is from the pics but looks like a bubble tip?

I started with 1 bouble tip, got another, first split so now I have 3. I have a lot of flow in my 40b and they all move around. The foot is stable enough now though that it will move but stays attached to the rock or glass so it doesn’t get blown around.

Low power on blowers and time. Let it settle and then slowly bring back flow

It's a Haitian Pink Tip.

It is bleached but once the 1-2 weeks has past. You should start regular feedings to nurse it back to good health

This creature is weird. I would like to understand how it works. It has been squirting water from itself like a rocket propelling itself around the tank.

It is currently land here.

It also must have been in the powerhead and got some tentacles ripped off. There are white strings in my powerhead.

Is this normal behavior for a nem?

That’s normal behavior but running into the Powerhead could result in death. Can you see and get a pic on how much damage it took ?

Not looking to hot when I came home. Left my powerheads off.
