so I bought this anemone that was looking good when bought looked like a speckled green bubble tip anemone, the tips were bubbled up nice, I had it in my 75gallon, but now its looking real bad doesn't have any tentacles, losing color except for base, just looking real bad so I suspected that maybe my peppermint shrimp had something to do with it so I moved it to my nuvo 8 tank, to see if it recovers so far it has moved from one side to other and comes out for some light, any advise on what to do. please excuse the pic like I said it looks bad right now.

How old is your 75G tank? is it a mature tank? water parameters? stable condition? etc? I know that I have to stay on top of my water changes in order for my BTA to stay healthy in my 28G nanocube. Mine is still doing pretty well after about a month. I also have a peppermint shrim inside my 28G, but my Maroon clowns protect it.

If it is still connected I would leave it alone but once it lets go and looks like that Id say its done for. Sorry

Had tank for year levels are pretty stable, clowns didnt host it, so I should take it out?

What are the actual numbers for your parameters? (( including your SG/salinity, and how you measure it ))
Do you use RO/DI water? If so, what is the TDS?
What lights are you using?

I wouldn't say it's DOA, but it's close... real close. I can't imagine your shrimp had much to do with it... Peppermints are typically so benign.
As for the BTA... this really looks like probably one of two things... flow or lighting. I would REALLY ramp up your lighting and hope for the best. And do a real 50% water change. And if he's in a tank where he can't hurt anything, I'd wait till he starts to fall apart, and then suck him out. As for flow, I like the theory, GPH=10x gallons (80g tank = 800gph). This is still recoverable, just not likely. Good luck, though.

I use refractameter it's 26. Salinity I have two wp25 for flow and lighting is two evergrow it2040 yes I use Rodin water tds is 0 had to take the anemone out couldn't chance it, the anemone let go of rock and started floating around, I guess I lost it and started falling apart
